How to fix site can't be reached error (with Image illustration)

Most time when you get the error message "this site can't be reached it doesn't necessarily mean that the site isn't available, it could be a DNS problem that could be solved from your device. But before you proceed with the fix I'm about to show you make sure the site is only down for you( that is, it's only not connecting on your device). If it's offline for everyone else, that means it's a server-side problem, but if it only happens on your device that means you have to change the DNS(Domain Name System) setting on your device.

Steps to follow:

  1. On your browser click the options drop-down menu
     Scroll to and click settings.

  2.  Then look for security and privacy( its shield and privacy or just privacy for some browsers)and click on it.

  3. Click on security and scroll to use secure DNS under advanced settings then chose your desired DNS provider. I recommend quad 9 or cloud flare.

when you finish the problem should be solved and you should be able to view all the sites that displed the error message.

How to factory reset personal computer( for different makes of PCs)

RESET BOTTON

A factory reset simply means totally deleting all information stored in a computer right from the first day it was used, leaving only the information the manufactory stored in it.

Why must anyone perform a factory reset?

There are a number of reasons for that, it could be due to a chronic system or app malfunction, change of ownership or the user just has too much junk file, which he/she doesn't have time to go through the stress of deleting one by one, whichever reason it is, you can perform a reset in no time, with a few steps.

  1. Step One

  2. Backup any data which you wish to keep before performing a factory reset. You will probably want to copy everything from your user folders, including documents, photos, music, and videos. The factory reset will delete all these along with any programs you've installed since you got your laptop.

  3. Step Two

  4. Startup or reboot your laptop.

  5. Step Three

  6. During the start-up process, hit the appropriate F key or key the combination listed below for your manufacturer.

Note: There is often a small window of opportunity to strike the key so don't worry if it takes you a few attempts. I advise pressing the key multiple times.

    • Acer – Alt + F10

    • Asus – F9

    • Dell/Alienware – F8

    • HP – F11

    • Lenovo – F11

    • MSI – F3

    • Samsung – F4

    • Sony – F10

    • Toshiba – press down 0 (not Numpad) while turning on, release the key when the Toshiba logo appears.

    • If these keys don't work then lookout for a message on the screen during startup which might indicate how to start the recovery process. You might need to check your recovery partition is enabled in the BIOS. It's also possible your laptop might not have a recovery partition (or it may have been deleted) so we're making no guarantees here. You might need to contact your manufacturer.

    • Step Four

    • You should see instructions on the screen explaining how to proceed. Different manufacturers use different software to restore the 'disk image' from the recovery partition, so I can't provide specific guidance. However, the process is almost always automatic once you've confirmed you definitely want to proceed, so it might be a case of waiting for some minutes for the job to happen in one go, but some systems restore Windows first and then install drivers and programs automatically when Windows first boots. If that's the case, don't try to do anything until you see a message saying the restore has finished.
I hope this helps, warm regards.
