How to Add a Custom Domain Name to Google Blogger

To add a custom domain name to your blogger website,

1. First, register your desired domain name on any domain registrar of your choice
2. login into your blogger account, go to the control panel. If you have multiple blogs created on that account, you should go to the RECENT BLOGS  and select the blog you want to give a custom domain.
   
   

   
   


3. Then go to settings and click on it,
   
   
   
   you should be able to see options like BASIC, PRIVACY, PUBLISHING,  and so on by the right-hand corner, you should focus on the PUBLISHING >> CUSTOM DOMAIN >> (click on)Click on Custom Domain.



4. Enter your custom name and press save.



5. By now your custom domain name must be showing below your default blog name. If not yet showing wait a bit and refresh the page.
6. Click the edit button, when you do so some information will appear asking you to log into your account at your domain registrar's website and add a few lines of configuration text into the "CNAMEs" located in the DNS setting(Domain Name System).
7. All so enter NAMES and VALUES into the type "A" record. For every value of NAMES enter "@"(or leave it blank for some registers) and for "VALUE" enter:
   216.239.32.21
   216.239.34.21
   216.239.36.21
   216.239.38.21
   Enter the values separately into different types "A". Then set the TTL(time to leave) for each



8. All so enter "NAMES" and "VALUE"  into the type "AAAA" record.
   2001:4860:4802:32::15
   2001:4860:4802:34::15
   2001:4860:4802:36::15
   2001:4860:4802:38::15
   For every value of NAMES enter "@"(or leave it blank for some registers) and for "VALUE". Then set the TTL(time to leave) for each


9. If you are using Google domain services, you do not need to go through all these processes, it does all this automatically for you.
