Setting up a YouTube channel is straightforward, provided you know the right steps. It's important to note that a Google account (Gmail) is required to create a YouTube channel, as YouTube is owned by Google.

Below is a simple, step-by-step guide to help you create your YouTube channel:

1. First, open a Google account, in case you don't have one or if you want to have a separate account for whatever your brand is.


2. Log in to YouTube with your Gmail username and password, the first YouTube channel you create will possess the same name as your Google account. If you don't want it that way, you can create a new brand account.
