Google AdSense application approval guide

Eligibility requirements

Here are some things to check before you sign up for an AdSense account:
Do you have your own content created from scratch? This can include your site, blog, or other original content.
Note: It's important that you can access the HTML source code of the site you submit for AdSense.

Are you at least 18 years old? As noted in Google AdSense Terms and Conditions,
Make sure that your site complies with Google AdSense Program policies before you sign up.

Site content

Your site or blog should have original and unique content. AdSense does not condone the stealing of content from someone else's work. It should be content or information relevant to your visitor that would make them come back for more, and even make them refer other people to your website.

Your site content should be arranged in a user-friendly way to enable visitors navigate around with no stress. It is recommended that you leave links to relevant topics or content on other pages of your site. This will ensure that your pages are properly linked and connected to each other, which will enable visitors to stay longer.

Insufficient content: To be approved for AdSense and show relevant ads on your site, your pages need to have enough text on them for AdSense specialists to review and for their crawler to be able to determine what your pages are about.

To resolve this issue, please work through the following suggestions:

  •   Make sure that your pages have sufficient text - websites that contain mostly images, videos, or Flash animations will not be approved.
  •  No official minimum word count, but reviewers expect meaningful, substantial content.
  •   Your content should contain complete sentences and paragraphs, not only headlines.
  •   Ensure that your website is fully built and launched before you apply for AdSense - do not apply while your site’s still in a beta or “under construction” phase or only consists of a website template.
  •  Provide a clear navigation system for your visitors so that they can easily find all of the sections and pages of your website.
  •   Note that blogs and websites that contain only videos will not be approved.

Access to HTMl source code of your website

Before signing up for adsense make sure you have access to the HTML source code. This means you should be able to edit your site using HTML code. Before your application is reviewed and verified, you need to place the codes given to you on the AdSense page between Html tag of your pages.

Age restriction

To be eligible to signup on adsense, you should be more than 18 years of age. applicants yonger than 18 can have their parents, older relative or guardians sign up for AdSense using their own Google Account.
Make sure that your site complies with Google AdSense Program policies before you sign up.
Extra tips
When pasting Google AdSense code on your page for verification, be sure not to have any other Code from Other Advertising companies, cause if you do you application will not be accepted
Make sure your pages are mobile-friendly, these days most people go on the internet through mobile devices, and once your pages don't appear well on mobile devices, chances are that your adverts won't show.
